Dr. Sarah S. Khan joined SEECS in Fall 2012 as an Assistant Professor in Department of Computing. Before that, she was pursuing her Ph.D. in Computing and Information Systems from UNC Charlotte, USA. During her Ph.D., she was employed full time at UNC Charlotte under various capacities. She served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at University of North Carolina at Charlotte, USA during Summer 2012. Before that she also served as the course coordinator and Instructor in the same university. Dr. Sarah also holds Masters in Sciences in Economics from UNC Charlotte, USA and Master's in Business Administration from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan.

Dr. Sarah has a versatile research background in terms of areas and methodologies. She has successfully conducted and published case studies, analytical studies and empirical studies. Her current research works focus on Software Quality Assurance and Management, Project and Portfolio Risk Management, Real Options methods, Information Systems Management, and Digital Rights Management. She is also working in the area of creative learning using emerging technologies. Her success stories include "EXYLENT" workshop at SEECS and First Lego League Islamabad Region.
